Hello everyone! If you are in or around Swansea in Wales during the next few weeks, we invite you to visit Mission Gallery to engage with Underwater Words I & II – a co-created digital artwork from an artscience project that challenged diverse audiences to think and share about rivers and underwater environments in 2020 during the COVID19 pandemic.

The Underwater Haiku project was co-created by FIRE Lab in collaboration with poet Asha Sahni and 106 people from around the world. Underwater Words I & II is a digital diptych designed by Daphne Ioanna Giannoulatou, and consists of two independent videos, sharing one screen. The artwork was created to celebrate collective creations and the infinite possibilities arising when many minds work together towards one goal.
The artwork funded by Welsh Government and ERDF is exhibited at Mission Gallery’s “The Screen” until 17 July 2021.
